"FOR SOME ART IS SIMPLY A HOBBY WHILE FOR OTHERS IT'S A LIFESTYLE." — OUR MANTRA

Iam

A GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Hey guys! I'm Brittany. I was born and raised in a Jamaican household in Hartford, CT.  I currently reside in Maryland and work in DC. I have literally been creating art my entire life.

Outside of the arts, I am very passionate about social issues that impacts marginalized communities. I have spent over 9 years working with at-risk youth.  Throughout my public servant trajectory I have helped push public policies, organize communities, and participate in international research on Syrian refugees in Armenia. Last year during COVID I started a blog dedicated to social issues and

mental health called Grounded Truth LLC.

And occasionally I bake cupcakes and send random adorable videos of my puppy doing the most.

WORK EXPERIENCE

I have had the pleasure of working with over 150 different businesses and individuals with my graphic and artistic ability. Being able to share my creativity with the rest of the world is humbling knowing I can have a hand in others success. It is always rewarding to see how my clients evolve with their branding. I have designed for PolisheD by Dr. Natasha Sandy, The Greater Hartford NAACP Chapter, EVOL Body & Wellness,  Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Chi Omega Chapter, and Sasha Bruce Youthworks to name a few.
